Anette Baldauf studied educational theory at the University of Vienna and sociology at the New School for Social Research in New York. Her research focuses on postindustrial city formations, popular culture, social movements, and critical art. Through and in her ongoing cooperation with visual artists she is interested in enriching the vocabulary of both the social sciences and artistic practices. Book publications: Entertainment Cities.
