Daniel M. Abramson
je profesorem dějin moderní architektury a ředitelem centra architektury na Tufts University, Medford, Massachusetts, kde vyučuje dějiny moderní architektury. Vystudoval anglickou literaturu na Princetonské univerzitě a získal doktorát z dějin umění na univerzitě v Harvardu. Je autorem publikací Building the Bank of England: Money, Architecture, Society, 1694–1942 (Budování Bank of England: peníze, architektura, společnost, 1694–1942, New York, Princeton Architectural Press 2005) a Skyscraper Rivals: The AIG Building and the Architecture of Wall Street (Soupeřící mrakodrapy: budova AIG a architektura Wall Street, New York, Princeton Architectural Press 2001). Během své kariéry získal řadu prestižních stipendií, mj.: Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art (London) Senior Fellowship (2008), Newhouse Center for the Humanities Faculty Fellowship, Wellesley College (2007–2008), National Endowment for the Humanities Fellowship (2007–2008), American Council of Learned Societies Fellowship (2004–2005), Charles Warren Center for Studies in American History Fellowship, Harvard University (2004–2005), Mellon Research Semester Fellowship, Tufts University (2004), Graham Foundation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts Grant (1998–1999), National Endowment for the Humanities Summer Stipend (1998).
